To discover 'B-days & Anniversaries,' go to Settings -> B-days & Anniversaries in the left sidebar.

'Common settings' Tab

This is a mutual setup for posting congratulations for both birthdays and work anniversaries.

'Birthday' Tab

To activate birthday congratulations, enable the toggle. Make sure the 'Birthday' field is enabled for collecting by the bot on the 'Profile Fields' page.

'Work anniversary' Tab

To activate work anniversary congratulations, enable the toggle. Make sure the 'Work anniversary' field is enabled for collecting by the bot on the 'Profile Fields' page.

Congratulations templates

By default, OrgaNice will use its own congratulations template. You can also create your own custom templates.

The day-before reminder in Slack

The day before the event, on working days, and depending on your setup in 'Common settings' for weekends, the bot sends a reminder to all OrgaNice admins in a direct message in Slack with a congratulation preview.

The post can be edited (admins can change the text and regenerate the GIF), and it's also possible to cancel the congratulations post by clicking the 'Don't send' button.
