How to Manage Kudos

Fostering a culture of peer-to-peer recognition.

This section is a powerful tool for building a culture of appreciation. It allows team members to publicly recognize each other's hard work, celebrate achievements, and reinforce company values directly within their corporate messenger.

There are two tabs: General settings and Company values.


General Settings

Enable the Publish kudos to the channel option to allow your colleagues to post their kudos in a specific channel. Then select a public channel where kudos will be posted.

In the field below, you can set a limit on how many kudos a member can give per cycle (e.g., a week).

Configure how often kudos will be reset. For example, every week on Sundays. Enter the data in the corresponding field. In addition, set the time and time zone when kudos quota will be reset.


Company Values

In this section, you can add or edit company values. They are a set of fundamental beliefs and principles that form the foundation of any company. Adhering to these values ensures that every action aligns with your company’s vision. They serve as a guide for employee behavior and experience, defining how people should interact with one another, as well as how they should conduct themselves with customers, partners, and the broader community.

When giving kudos, employees can select the specific value their colleague demonstrated. This makes recognition more meaningful by highlighting how team members live out their company culture.

You can use the default company values or create your own. The default ones include:

  • Innovation

  • Teamwork

  • Integrity

  • Customer Focus

  • Accountability

  • Creativity

  • Empathy

  • Excellence

To edit the default company values, click the three dots at the end of the corresponding row and select the Edit option.

In the menu that opens, make the changes in the corresponding fields and click the Save Value button.

To add a company value, press the Add Value button. Fill in the corresponding fields of the pop-up window and click the Add Value button.
