The Celebrations section is designed to foster a positive company culture by ensuring no birthday or work anniversary goes unnoticed. Here, you can automate how your workspace celebrates these milestones.
There are three tabs: General settings, Birthdays, and Work anniversary.
General Settings
In this section, keep the whole team involved by broadcasting milestones to a specific Slack channel. Select a public channel where the bot will post birthday and anniversary wishes. You can also customize the time, time zone, and the specific day when the festive message will be posted.
Birthdays
In this section, you can customize how birthdays are celebrated.
Enable the Change Slack status when it's member's birthday option to allow the bot to automatically update a member's Slack status on their birthday.
Enable birthday congratulations by toggling the switch. Check or uncheck the box depending on whether you want to use a birthday GIF.
You can add birthday congratulations templates by clicking the Add Template button. Once you have made the necessary changes, click the Save button.
Work Anniversary
In this section, you can customize how anniversaries are celebrated.
Enable the Change Slack status when it's member's anniversary option to allow the bot to automatically update a member's Slack status on their anniversary.
Enable work anniversary congratulations by toggling the switch. Check or uncheck the box depending on whether you want to post a work anniversary GIF.
You can add anniversary congratulations templates by clicking the Add Template button. Once you have made the necessary changes, click the Save button.
